I am not ashamed,
Preaching of the Gospel;
For what I have proclaimed,
The truth to the people.
It is power of God,
For our salvation;
That we honor and laud,
Building the foundation.
Each of us who believe,
To Greek not only Jew;
Of what you will receive,
Knowing that it is true.
The righteousness of God,
Faith assures to reveal;
For cleansing us where flawed,
That righteousness is real.
By righteousness we live,
Faith that avoids the wrath;
God willing to forgive,
Faith detours our path.
As to what can be known,
About God has been plain;
Because of what God has shown,
Is as certain as rain.
The invisible things,
Of a Divine nature;
Eternal power brings,
Life unto each creature.
Although others may know,
They do not honor Him;
Having no love to show,
Their lives will remain grim.
Futile in their thought,
Having a foolish heart;
The darkness they have sought,
From the Word they depart.
For they claim to be wise,
But have become such fools;
Since they have closed their eyes,
That shine the golden rules.
They have exchanged the truth,
About God for a lie;
Arrogant and uncouth,
The Word does not apply.
