***************

every day
every night
I know I'm alive
informed through pain

my bones boil
and churn
in my bodily mote. A
 human lightening rod,
 with the,lightening bolt.
Pain surrounds me and, in my ears,
screams at me

I didn't ask for you
but you've arrived
and have chosen to stay
You've well overstayed your welcome

I wish you'd go to hell or wherever you came from,
just leave me alone  go away

I can no longer run
I hobble as I walk
I would rather dance
I would rather jaunt
I would rather resemble
the woman
I once was

that gal is gone
I am estranged from and a stranger
to myself
it is dangerous to wake
and look for the crumbs and create a crust of
a me who was once the whole pie.

I want to be whole
I want to rise up
I want to give into my rage and anger
I want to run and run
I want I want I want
but cannot have
I am sad
for who I lost
but I have no choice
I must move on
I must wake up
I must endeavor to endure
there is no fate
there is no cure
this is what has happened
this is what cannot be undone

I cannot accept this
but from this cutting acceptance
I can NEVER run.
