~POEM AND SLEEP~
There is nothing in common
between a poem and sleep
except they both are slippery
if you try capturing them.
Worrying about sleep,
counting hours left
before you have to get up
makes you lose sleep.
Worrying about poem
Why can you not write?
can take you away from
writing illusive poem.
Just when you least expect
you doze off and sleep;
like a spark lighting fire
you write a poem inspired.
