Tears of Despair

In the deep dark silence of my soul,
a yearning to do something right
for once, before I grow senile
and old.

The years have come and the years
have gone, and yet I seem to just
stumble on.

Day by day…
yet nothing seem to come my way.
If tomorrow is the same as today,
then what happened to yesterday?

Dark days, we all have…
but must they come in lots?
Are is it true, that we make
our own lucky shots?

Who said life is fair?
Critics we must all learn to bear.
But yet there must be solitude somewhere!

Tears of despair, pull out my hair.
Oh! No.
I’m going to hang on to the
preverbal rope and pray for hope!
