Dance With Me
Dance with me, while we're young and strong
While life still resembles a utopian song
Dance with me, when our words were unkind, hold
Me close, as we apologize, let the tears end tonight.
Dance with me, as you whisper in my ear, the things
You love about me, sometimes, I need to hear
Dance with me, our troubles will fade for a while, your
Strong arms holding me, chasing away, the dark clouds
Dance with me, as we celebrate life, our little one reaches
His tiny arms up, it's now become a dance for three.
Dance with me, we're growing old, our steps not as
Nimble, we've welcomed three generations into our fold
Dance with me, one last time, slowly, that neither fall, let our
Minds once more recall, my love, we've danced through it all.
