Still Alone Without You
I long to see your face again
to hear you whisper in my ear.
I long to walk along the creek
Knowing that it's you I seek.
My love for you is never ending
Love to Heaven I am sending.
My life goes on from day to day
Mundane and purposeless
Without your love to see me through
There is nothing I want to do.
I could just sit and stare for hours
Not a thought of man or flowers.
Just void and emptiness within
No heart to feel or thoughts to give
My life it died upon that day,
The day they took you far away.
I'm a lost soul, no one who cares
Or wonder why I'm sitting there.
