It shall come to pass in the days, The mountain of the Lord arrives; To be lifted high up in praise, As a righteous nation survives. To be lifted above the hills, All of the nations flow to it; Many people see how it fills, Throughout the sky with His merit. Let us go up to the mountain, Remember to walk in His path; And drink from the righteous fountain, Pray to be spared from judgment wrath. For out of Zion comes the Law, Written from the Word of the Lord; Where He shall judge you for your flaw, For the commands that you ignored. He shall also settle disputes, Beating their swords into plowshares; To dig the ground and plant the roots, Of the trees for the fruit it bears. No more nation fighting nation, Neither shall they be learning war; Walking as a new creation, Within the light forever more. Copyright ©2022 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
