Seek good and not evil, As to that, you may live; Work not for the devil, Only to God to give. For the Lord God of Host, Will be with you always; Letting the Holy Ghost, Guide you throughout your days. Hate evil and love good, Giving justice at the gate; Be gracious as you should, Let not dark seal your fate. Wailing is in the street, Calling farmers to mourn; Lamentation shall meet, To all those who sojourn. The vineyards are wailing, God passes through your midst; Repent to unfailing, Before judgement has blitzed. Copyright ©2022 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
