It comes to pass in latter days, The mountain of the house of God; It shall be the highest always, For a place to honor and laud. Many nations shall come and say, Let us go up to the mountain; So we may walk the path today, And drink from the living fountain. Out of Zion goes forth the Law, The His Word from Jerusalem; Those who do not regret their flaw, The Lord will finally condemn. He shall judge of many people, Shall rebuke nations from afar; Who do not worship at His temple, Exposing their unholy scar. They shall beat plowshares from their swords, And pruning hooks made from their spears; To receive the righteous rewards, Each and everyone who reveres. No longer shall they lift a sword, Neither shall they learn about war; And follow the Word of the Lord, For they shall be conflicts no more. Each man to sit under His vine, No one shall ever be afraid; Hearing speech from the Divine, And obey by what is conveyed. For all who walk in their god, Since their path follows the dark; We walk in the honor of God. Within His light, we will embark. Copyright © 2024 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
