Contempt
To a dear friend;
I spoke words of
damnation of another soul.
With a quick nitro glare,
profoundly he responded with
what a wise man once uttered
to him loud and clear.
"Persons residing in crystalline
structures should refrain from
capitulating lapidary fragments."
I shyly smiled and agreed
but I was ignorant of his
meaning.
The meaning
I have since been made aware.
No longer a dear friend,
is he…
I declare.
