From the Outer-rim

He came from the outer-rim,
brilliant sparkles danced
about his head, eyes full of
love, that spoke from within.

Stranger, yet somehow friend.
He spoke not, but I did in silence
understand.

Many things he revealed to me,
many wonders, my eyes did see.
Events far to wit, in the future
apace.

All this, I know will come to be,
for this prophet from outer-space
came and silently spoke these
words of wisdom to me.

Fear not, he said at last,
for death is not the end,
but the beginning anew,
not the sum of the past.

He vanished as quickly
as he had appeared,
back to the outer-rim.

Leaving me with inner
peace and knowledge
flowing over the brim.
