ECHOES OF THE HEART
"The War is Over!"---Since When???
"The war is over!"
Yet hatred remains,
And day after day
More lives have been claimed.
A Tyrant is gone
To who knows just where,
A nation's unrest
Breeds panic and fear.
So day after day
Our service men sweat,
Out bullets and hate
Is WAR over yet?
Wars may come easy
But so hard, comes peace,
With battles over
Just where is the ease?
True resolution
Involves so much more,
When Peace is restored--
'Twill mean end of War!
