Simmering summer
What a bummer
Every other day it rains
Can't go campin'
That won't happen
And the mosquitoes are such a pain!
Simmering summer
Makes feel dumber
I haven't thought straight for days
In the sun here I find
That it just cooks my mind
I stay in a summer's day daze!
Simmering summer
I'm beaconing to wonder
Why I thought summer so 'cool!'
If I should survive
I will vacate my hive
And go and build me an igloo!
