Heavenly Father and Gracious Lord,
We thank you for your Holy Word;
Thank you for this food to eat,
Before my body energy deplete;
May this food nourish my physique,
So this body of mine is not weak;
Help me to always remain strong,
And help make my life prolong;
May this food strengthen me today,
That I continue to go your way;
As your word nourishes my soul,
The seeds in my mind that you sow;
And remind me as to not to stray,
In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen
