I love waking up early in the morning,
Before the sun begins its warming;
Looking up a tree I see a little bird,
What a wonderful sound that I heard;
I saw him singing up near the top,
How I wish that he would not stop;
He makes such a beautiful sound,
As he is perched on his mound;
God blessed him with such a voice,
It makes a person want to rejoice;
Knowing that God makes a creature,
With a pleasant sounding feature;
I could just listen to him for hours,
As I'd stop and smell the flowers;
God has done such wondrous deeds,
With such a variety and many breeds;
How could we be bored with creation,
Knowing all God that has formation;
This world is not here just by fate,
All part of God's plan making it great.
