Some may call it their Paradise,
With everything perfectly nice;
The Garden of Eden some may say,
A Perfect place to laugh and play;
Buddhist may know it as Nirvana,
Some may rather smoke marijuana;
Never forget about the Promised Land,
Moses took his people to over the sand;
No matter what we may stop to think,
Our commitment to God doesn't shrink;
He'll look for us at the Pearly Gate,
When it's time he'll patiently wait;
Telling us where we should go,
To pass on through or meet his foe;
We will see everything both good and bad,
When we were happy and also sad;
He'll tell us when we were neat,
And times we stole or did cheat;
All that is not clean he will tell,
For the Promise Land may be Hell.
