Remember God: Your Best Companion
As a mother hen shroud chicks with her wing,
So does the comfort of the Lord do I cling;
Knowing that He is not very far away,
Helps keep me to desire that I stay;
No matter how much it may get tough,
Some may feel that they had enough;
There is no need for me to leave,
I know that Satan loves to deceive;
Since I know that the Lord is close by,
I just feel some relief as I do sigh;
When in need all I have to do is say,
By kneeling down and ask as I pray;
He knows where I need to strive,
My future He already does contrive;
All He asks that I keep Him in mind,
And know where and how to find;
Go to His House for worship and praise,
Repent for the mistakes and evil ways;
Remember to treat everyone fair,
And always take time for prayer.
