Heavenly Father and Lord God Divine,
Grant us through this prayer of mine;
That we might be grounded and firm,
In your truth as we do solemnly affirm;
By the coming of your Holy Spirit within,
Into our hearts and protect us from sin;
What we do not know and understand,
Reveal to us the future of your plan;
What is lacking within us and is split,
Make complete and help me commit;
The facts that we do know as of now,
Confirm in us what you will truly allow;
Keep us blameless being in your service,
Always remaining as your loyal servant;
For you are the exalted and most high,
You are our firm foundation and our ally;
Your word is eternal and stands secure,
Giving us the hope and faith to endure;
We will put our trust in your Holy Word,
We pray through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
