I hear a lot of people complain,
About why we got so much rain;
I say to each and every one of you,
That we should thank God who;
Feeds and replenishes the earth,
To give all vegetation its birth;
Think about what it would be,
If no rain did fall on your or me;
With no vegetables or fruits,
Trees and vines with dried roots;
Massive starvation with no doubt,
We could not survive a drought;
Of course with Noah in his time,
He didn't say God caused a crime;
Because of flooding all the land,
No gripe but abide as God planned;
All creatures by two onto the boat,
For forty days to keep it afloat;
When God sent a rainbow for a sign,
For once again there'd be sunshine.
