C H A N G E !!!
Change is elusive in ourselves
Yet very apparent in others,
In them, we can spot it right off--
But in ourselves--only late, we discover!
The Change of Years approaches
Mainly on what we call "Our Blind Side,"
Until it overtakes us
And becomes too big to hide!
We wonder just where we were
When all this change was taking place,
Were we just too blind to see,
What's written all over our face?
Change is hard to get used to
For just when we accept it, my friend,
It throws us for another loop--
Thus we must face Changes again!
Just how can I be Me
Living in such flux of Change?
I see there's no settling down--
For Time doth e'er rearrange!
I guess, I'll just accept the fact
That Change, I will always find,
I'll just tag along this unscripted play--
Unless, I should change my mind!!!
