Adulterous Sin

Proverbs 6

My son asked me a little about God's Law,
Especially pertaining to women he awe;
I told him to always remember his father,
And never forsake the law of his mother;
For God's Law is a lamp for your light,
And to be used to know wrong from right;
Stay away and beware of the working girl,
Their sweet talk will make your head whirl;
A lot of flattery that they desire to utter,
That will make your little heart flutter;
Don't lust after beauty that fogs the heart,
Because all of your money will soon depart;
Neither let her eyelids cause you deceit,
That will just take you down into defeat;
The adulteress hunts for the precious life,
And sin if you steal the neighbor's wife;
Man is a thief to steal for his sexual lust,
For he has committed adultery in a disgust;
What he does will destroy his very own soul,
Wounds and dishonor shall take its toll.
