The Value of a Soul

Mark 8

Jesus asked, Who do they say that am I?
They said, Maybe Elijah or even Malachi;
He asked again, Who do you say that am I?
You are the Christ. As Peter gave his reply;
And Jesus said If any man come after me,
Let him deny himself to be nailed to a tree;
For whosoever saves his life shall loose it,
If he looses his life on my sake he's legit;
For the gospel will shield him and be saved,
Never having sin to worry and be enslaved;
What does a man profit to forfeit his life?
Would he also sell his children and wife?
What would he give for his life in exchange?
What kind of deal would he try to arrange?
Whoever is ashamed of me and of my words,
The Son of Man says to nest with the birds;
For I am ashamed just as much of them,
They are not welcome and are condemn;
When the Son of Man returns to here again,
It will be in His Father's glory to reign.
