To really know wisdom and teaching,
Is to discern the word of understanding;
In learning very wise transactions,
Justice and equal in righteous interactions;
For prudence is simple to the profession,
To a young man knowledge and discretion;
A wise man may hear and increase learning,
An understanding man has good counseling;
To understand a proverb is to envision,
The words of the wise with night vision;
Fearing God is beginning of knowledge,
The foolish despise wisdom and college;
My son hear what your father has to say,
And when your mother asks you to obey;
A chaplet of grace will be upon your head,
And chains around your neck made of lead;
My son don't consent to sinners who lure,
For they are evil and their heart not pure;
If they say, Come with us to hang about,
Stay away and refrain from their route,
