HOME OF THE FLOWING PEN
This Life
This Life gets so trying
So many things to do
I find myself sighing
Asking when is there time for you?
The day is long and stressful
Your heart is on a shelf
What happened to the quiet times?
Do they belong to someone else?
Everyone needs attention
And I give it gracefully
But in all of the tribulation
Have I forgotten me?
For I need faith and kindness
I need a love that's true
Am I walking now in blindness?
Am I overlooking you?
For you are my sweet haven
You are all I ever need
With you my doubts forsaken
You are the one thing in which I believe
