God's Peace

Inner Peace

Here on this world I only need one thing,
To know myself and God is Heavenly King;
Our Heavenly Father gives peace and love,
Showers His blessings from Heaven above;
With the blessings from God I'm not poor,
And I have the desire for nothing more;
Jesus with such a sweet and humble heart,
He makes my heart like His not to depart;
The sunshine that breaks after the rain,
In my life all is well with feeling no pain;
In the early morning dewdrops on a rose,
Joy fills my heart and mind in good repose;
A baby silently sleeps sweetly on the cot,
A blessing with miracle of birth of a tot;
A bird drinking water from a quiet stream,
God is on my mind and reigning supreme;
Such a peace for God that I feel inside,
Deeply within my heart that He abide;
I think of Jesus Christ as I close my eyes,
Knowing that eternal life is my prize.
