God's Surprises

God has beautiful surprises for you,
He is planning for you one today too;
So often in our lives it looked hopeless,
God has sent a surprise down to bless;
So often in our lives it was depressing,
God provides us with another blessing;
So often in our lives our day was so dark,
God renews us with an illuminating spark;
An unexpected burst of golden sunlight,
That fills my heart with joyful delight;
The rays explode through a black cloud,
That hatred and fear has caused a shroud;
Light pierce through with shafts of heat,
Causing the satanic forces to retreat;
The gloomy clouds have finally faded,
Allowing beautiful sunshine to be elated;
I feel it happening right now and here,
Chasing away all my tribulation and fear;
It's the awesome power of God's love,
Through Jesus Christ our Lord from above.
