Pleading If you could do one thing for me
I'll tell you now what that would be
Stop the tears that fall like rain
Please, I beg you.....stop the pain
I pray before you on bended knee
Please take these scars away from me
Silence the nightmares that scream at night
Heal my heart Lord and make it right
Humbled again I can not speak
Heart and body lay much too weak
I know these prayers are same as before
Just once, pick me up off of the floor
Can't life find some other soul to hold?
Do I have to find peace as blood runs cold?
I look for you now up in the sky
