Joyful Prayer

Our Father in Heaven and God of Creation,
You have brought upon me such elation;
What a joy it's been in knowing You're here,
You have chased away my anxiety and fear;
Knowing that You are always within me,
Has given so much peace and tranquility;
For You have built my confidence inside,
To increase the courage that You provide;
Preparing me for the challenges of the day,
And not worry about confusion or dismay;
Your guidance has kept me right on track,
Laid forth for me in Your plan of attack;
Fully aware of the trials and tribulations,
And also exposing other sinful temptations;
I will be keeping You completely on my mind,
Not letting Satan's influence make me blind;
Keeping my faithful desire forever more,
Spreading my eagle's wings for to soar;
Doing your work here on earth each day,
In Your Son's name as we pray. AMEN
