"Did You Take Time"
Did you take time to
say a kind word to someone today?
Just anyone you may have met along the way.
Did you look someone in the eye and smile?
Maybe stop and chat with a friend for a while.
Did you take time to go outside and feel the
autumn breeze?
Maybe ask a friend to walk in the park and view
the changing leaves.
Or did you scurry through the day like so many of us do?
Did you take time to look at all the beauty around you?
So maybe just slow down...take time to look around,
Breath in the air...listen to every sound.
Give someone a word of kindness along the way,
Watch their face light up,it will brighten your day.
