Showing Versatility
I think it's rather nice
We poets can converge
As one in this place
To write a psalm or dirge.
And now to share our thoughts
And so get a reply
We know our words count
And too, touch other lives.
We see diversity
In the many styles
And in content too
Many are worth our whiles.
We congregate as one
Yet each one's unique
Making up the whole
In realms of poetry.
It's in the give and take
Beyond Monologue,
We share special thoughts--
A true Dialogue!
Thus for this privilege
I thank unseen friends
Sharing in this cause
Unto favored ends!
