HOME OF THE FLOWING PEN - The Big Bad Bear

(What really happens when your child sneaks in to sleep with you)

So I prayed the Lord my soul to keep
And I laid my head down then to rest
But something woke me with a fright
And my heart lept right out of my chest

I swore I heard a grizzly bear
With big teeth and razor sharp claws
It's menacing growl shook me to the bone....
But then my tired mind did pause

Things came into perspective
As I came further into my awake state
Just the mere thought of a "Big Bad Bear"
Was more than I could take...

So then I shook with laughter
Until my helpless sides were sore
For what I heard was a babe fast asleep
And into my ear....she did snore
