Lord Jesus

Jesus' love draws closer to me every day,
For Christ's words will never pass away;
I believe that Christ is alive here and now,
For I feel His presence I solemnly avow;
He's trying to enter your heart and mind,
Helping to rid thoughts of an ax to grind;
He is the resurrection and the life forever,
Christ is with us through every endeavor;
He who believes in Christ will remain alive,
Though he may die still be able to survive;
Believe that God exists and Jesus is real,
Energy will be flowing being full of zeal;
With God's transforming love work is done,
For our Lord Jesus another victory won;
Minus turned into a cross with God's love,
That looks as a plus sign a symbol thereof;
No greater love than giving up your own,
For others be able to live once they atone;
Then filling my soul with valor and might,
Jesus is my Savior who's my true delight.
