Be True to Yourself

Since God loves you so can you love you,
Please ensure to be thine own self be true;
You are what you are and what can truly be,
In God's eyes you're merely a transparency;
To deceive others you too will be deceived,
A wolf in sheep's clothing you're perceived;
Behind a deceitful mask you try to hide,
It's the truth within you that's denied;
Do not try to be something that you're not,
Sooner or later I know you will get caught;
Be all you can not to stretch to impress,
The wrong signals that you could express;
Your lie'll keep stretching till it breaks,
Then you'll try to cover up your mistakes;
Show your true colors to everyone you meet,
A much better impression to those you greet;
Never try to hide what your life is about,
Then no one would ever to have any doubt;
God loves us and knows all of our secrets,
Though He forgives, not saying he forgets.
