Stress ReliefTension slips away as I focus my thoughts, On God's tranquil peace and not distraught; For God doesn't create chaos or confusion, But God is a God of peace not an illusion; Serene my stress and tension to transform, Focus on God's prescription of peace reform. I run toward God to His open arms of wings, To experience the joy of freedom it brings; Being near God gives feeling of warm rays, His love filling me with peace as I praise; The warmth fills my heart with His love, Sending Holy Spirit in the form of a dove; My peace does not come from this world here, Rather a Heavenly peace that squelches fear; Whoever forgives others ends their stress, Filled with peace as God begins to bless; Jesus Christ Himself is our path to peace, A relief valve for any tension to release; Through the church I experience a new kin, Freedom to share forgiveness free from sin.
