God's Army

Pure Love is Courage

God's power flows and gives me the nerve,
The courage to face God's foes as I serve;
God gifted me a spirit that is courageous,
Hopefully to my brethren it is contagious;
And become God's Army of the Holy Word,
Shouting out the Gospel for all to be heard;
A conquering spirit being absolutely sure,
That the victory will be ours rest assure;
Courage fills my heart and mind with hope,
Lifting up my faith and being able to cope;
Living the last days our army must be set
Prepared for God's adversaries as threat;
I inspire my fellow soldiers in a scheme,
That will pave the way for God's dream;
I know that God's our strength every day,
Either peace or war He will not betray;
His adversaries will cast doubt and fear,
Deceiving us on how things may appear;
But there is no fear in love that is pure,
For the perfect love of God will endure.
