Fading Battle ScarsComforting God's Child God helps me through when I have scars, He turns them around making them stars; Those who are weak He becomes weak, So He may win over whoever is meek; For He will turn our mourning into cheer, To give comfort chasing away the fear; All the sorrow and pain will soon cease, Replacing it in my heart with His peace; My hurts fade as my troubles are given, And hear God's voice that all is forgiven; Sharing my troubles with God our Lord, Keeps my confidence and faith restored; In return I obey our Lord all He command, And persevere on what He has planned; I cast all my worries and care upon Him, For He cares when it's good and grim; Since I am a child of God He's my Father, For He keeps danger away more farther; He watches over His children night and day, And cautions us when we start to stray.
