My GratitudeThankful to God I am looking at everything that I bear, And truly grateful for blessings I share; I'm thinking of just not material wealth, But also things God gave as good health; I'm thankful for a rational and sane mind, Filled with wisdom and helping mankind; I'm happy that I am able to see and hear, As to have compassion for to shed a tear; What joy it is to have my fingers and toes, The beauty of nature that God bestows; Having a nose that has a sense of smell, Detecting odors when danger could dwell; I'm thankful for the capability as to speak, So I can compliment my wife looking chic; I thank the Lord giving me understanding, To be patient with one who's demanding; I appreciate knowing that God cares for me, To sacrifice His only Son to hang on a tree; I am even grateful in being able to drive, But most of all I thank God that I'm alive!
