On my finger
Band of gold
Tied to a heart
Tale of love told

A tender promise
Unto him made
To grow old with him
To cherish each day

Band of gold
A simple thing
A gift of truth
This wedding ring

Always worn
A symbol of devotion
A reminder of a day
That brought such emotion

A band of gold
Given to me
Showing I am his
For eternity
