Singing a New SongPsalm 96: 1 - 3 Sing onto the Lord our God a new song, Proclaim His salvation from your wrong; Declare His glory among the heathenish, As well as His wonders to who act childish; For God is great and greatly to be praised, Extol Him in prayer for all you are amazed; The more you praise the less to see gloom, You'll have each day much more zoom; Singing a new song brings new lease on life, Getting rid all those old toils and strife; You'll stop repeating the same old mistakes, It could also mean for you fewer headaches; That old song's just an old record worn-out, Switch to CD you'll love it I have no doubt; God is alive and well listening for a song, No top 40 list in Heaven mostly sing along; Remember that he spared you perils and pain, Find a new song and start singing again; If you're a believer, see a change in mood, Miracles waiting for your spirit be renewed.
