Abolishing Fear

2 Timothy 1:7

God does not give us the spirit of fear,
Rather for to pursue life and persevere;
A sound mind with the power and love,
Being filled with blessings from above;
Your fears can be cured and healed,
With the help of God's power shield;
The shield will protect with its power,
No matter day or night or what hour;
Your fears will be overcome by force,
Deep down inside right at the source;
But the only way for your fear to fade,
By replacing it with everlasting faith;
Now when fear comes into your mind,
As it distorts thoughts when intertwined;
Love will also overcome this disease,
Love of God will make fear decrease;
Your sound mind against fear can guard,
As the chaotic fear is trying to bombard;
Verbalize against what fears you the most,
And pray to God your Heavenly Host.
