She Had To Try

She walked up to the window
Hoping love would give her wings to fly
She closed her eyes and fell then
For love....she had to try

She held her breath close within
Knowing she might not make it out alive
She ran to the water and dove right in
For love...she had to try

She sold all of her posessions
Gave away what no one would buy
And even though it wasn't enough
For love...she had to try

She holds to determination
She wont let a tear fall from her eye
She keeps her head held up oh so high
For love....she had to try

You might stop and wonder...
Is she just wasting time
But in her heart's the answer
For love....she has to try
