Miracles Happen

the bells chime the voices raise in praise
it is christmas time when christ was born
we raise our voices in praise and pray for peace
we also pray for our loved ones with much hope
this is the season everyone says miracles happen

i try to believe i want to believe can i believe
reality says that cant happen daydreams say maybe
i look at my mother and maybe wish a little
but then how do miracles change destiny or does it
this is the season everyone says miracles happen

do we believe or do we stay logical to all
we cant expect miracles really they happen to others
i would like to see what a miracle feels like
is that selfish to want what others may have
this is the season everyone says miracles happen

but sometimes i feel like scrooge Bah Humbug
my moods change so fast i never know if i believe or not
it doesnt mean i lack faith i just have never seen one
i guess if the truth be known i dont feel i can ask
this is the season everyone says miracles happen
