Intruder
  "Intruder"

Deep seeded within the depths of my being.
  Black and distorted.
No cause but that of destruction.
  Awakening at will.
I have no power over him.
He sleeps rarely and binds my heart
  With chains.
  Malicious and deceitful,
He craves power over me and calls it Love.
Invading my mind and controlling my world.
  Vicious and relentless,
He burns down all that I have.
He beckons me and lies in wait.
He brings me to my knees.
I am helpless in his wrath.
  So I hide within myself
Where my only safe haven is sleep.
