Opportunities Will Catch Us By Surprise!
Heroes and heroics: Identify with opportunities others only dream about. Seized by the moment, not intimidated, but instead in the heat of emotions with the burning desire to respond, to defend the defenseless, having a strong determination of resolve, to enter into controversy or maybe attempt what nobody else thought possible, therein giving voice to the injustices.
Heroes and heroics: To every action there is a reaction, or the action goesunchecked. Like the story of David and Goliath: David didn't come to camp to become a hero, he was bringing bread to his brothers. Though he did identify with opportunities, he was not intimidated by the size of the giant. He entered into the controversy with heroics, therein giving voice to the injustices.
Heroes and heroics: Being active helps us to be ready and effective,
responsive and perceptive to what is going on around us each day. By
being attentive, opportunities will not pass us by, as we grab hold of the moment, to establish what needs to be done. All progress starts with the first step, only then can it become the future giving voice to the injustices.
