Sing in the Sun

Tears flow from my soul,
not for me but for the time
I’ve wasted on vanity and
dreams of old.

Don’t feel sad, for I know this
old world will keep on turning
when I’m gone.

Think of the good times,
and don't be shackled to the bad.
Think about tomorrow for
there will be ample time
to be sad.

We can’t change the past,
and the future is coming fast.

So sing in the sun and have all the fun,
for life is short and will soon enough
be done.
