One Day at a Time

Take one day at a time.
Smile and life will surely rhyme.
Remember the joy of the good days.
Forget the bad days for they are just castaways.

Sing the songs that make you laugh and dance.
Forget the tunes that make you sad and tense.
Surround yourself with people who love you and care.
Forget about the bums that leave you tearing out your hair.

You are the Captain of your ship.
Let no one lead you or cause you to stray or slip.
Think positive and make the best of your time.
Your life will then surely  possess  rhythm and rhyme.

One day at a time.
