Happy Valentines Day Baby!!

Valentines Day Greeting for 2004
With each passing year I love you more.
It's a few days before we celebrate,
However;I have things now I wanna say.
Like the first day we met,
Even more special ..our first date.
We were both at Melody skateland...
You skated like a pro...
I seen you and thought...watch that hunk go!
You were wearing a black nylon shirt...
with a grey sweater vest over it,
Also grey pinstriped bellbottom pants.
It really was love at first sight when we met.
From that day forward we didn't want to
be apart.
Little did we know that time would come.
Years down the road,we split for awhile...
That turned out to be needless and dumb.
I really don't want to rehash that part.
So it's been 34 years ago and 4 grown sons later,
Now it is our time to spend together.
You came home from work early tonight...
Cause I was in pain and needed medicine,
and you wanted to help me feel alright.
When you got home you said;"I love you baby
and you really are my soul mate".
It's our time together and little words like this,
That makes me proud that you're my man,
and my special yearly valentine.
I seal this poem with a hug and a kiss,
Just think Baby;they all claimed...
"It was just puppy love",when in reality...
Our fates were sealed by the Man above.
