Jesus is true vine, our Father a granger,
Our Heavenly Father watches for danger;
Any branch that does not bears the fruit,
Shall be ridden and pulled up by the root;
All branches that bear, will be pruned,
For more fruit next year and stay attuned;
You are pruned because of these words,
As long as you remember this afterwards;
Abide in Jesus Christ as He abides in you,
You'll bear much fruit if you remain true;
A branch cannot bear any fruit on its own,
If not abide in Christ, you can't do alone;
Jesus is the vine and we are the branches,
Abide in Him for the blessing of His riches;
Without Jesus Christ you can do naught,
Then as for the fruit, you can have not;
Abiding not in Christ, you'll be cast aside,
Being left to whither until you have died;
All the dead branches fate will be learned,
As you will be cast into a fire and burned.
