Tongue TrainingJames 3:1-12 We all tend to stumble in so many ways, Sometimes it makes us feel as in a daze; If anyone never at fault what he speaks, He is the perfect man with the techniques; A bit in a horse's mouth makes him obey, To turn the entire animal any which way; Large ships being driven by a strong breeze, Is steered by a rudder as a pilot to please; The same for the tongue a small part of man, By the words it speaks can change a plan; Think of a forest fire started by a spark, The tongue is also a fire with a loud bark; We tend to let the tongue become enraged, With it in gear before the brain's engaged; Most evil part causing a body to corrupt, Like hellfire of a volcano ready to erupt; With all the creatures that man has tamed, Yet our tongue is evil, should be ashamed; Go to church and with the Lord conversing, In the same mouth comes praise and cursing.
