A Picture of PeacePsalm 122:6 & 7 May they who love you be able to thrive, Peace is within your walls, spirit revive; Two artists were hired to paint a picture, That would depict true peace for a venture; One painted a landscape of a mountain lake, A tranquil scene, so calm of the eye's sake; Tall and slender pine trees on green hills, Such beauty of art that just sent chills; Another guy painted a very restless scene, A rough waterfall and jagged rocks seen; A frail maple tree branch stretching out, Appearing ready to break without a doubt; On that branch was a fork that had a nest, A very small bird was very calmly at rest; A true picture of peace is one with belief, The only true Heavenly Commander-in-Chief; God does not promise a life trouble free, But He will bring you peace when you plea; You'll be feeling the peace flowing inside, When you are allowing God to be your guide.
